Eclectic & Artfully Curated
Channeling a relaxing gallery-like feel, this condo unit features a well-edited mix of colourful and weathered pieces.
Custom built-ins are a common feature in local homes as these versatile design fixtures are great at accentuating space and style. The homeowners of this brand- new condo unit, however, had a different take on furnishing their home. The married couple who lives here with their two children prefer loose pieces, specifically ones with wood or woven textures, or with a charming patina finish. Suffice to say, their home looks distinctively refreshing from the typical condo dwellings decked in the same-old custom fixtures. To create a setting that would complement their laissez-faire decorating tastes, Senior Designer Winstar Tey from Noble Interior Design was roped in to helm the renovation. He says of the design brief: “The ultimate goal was to tie in pops of colours and interesting textures harmoniously into the space.” Other than the delicate act of balancing the miscellany of hues and patterns, he also had to work in more functionality into individual rooms.
